“This photo series drew inspiration from three distinct style era’s; the 1920’s, 1970’s and 1980’s. The location chosen was the historic neighbourhood of Walkerville, I felt that a shoot with a vintage theme would fit perfectly in this setting. Additionally, a lens filter was used to achieve a hazy appearance, a common theme in vintage photos throughout all eras. Although multiple style era’s served as inspiration, I wanted a unified theme of femininity, confidence and strength. The model, Ally did a fantastic job transforming this vision into a reality. Overall this photo series was an amazing collaborative experience.”
