Street Vinyl, was shot in the summer of 2017 in downtown Windsor, Ontario. The series features vinyl jackets,colour-blocking, faded denim and fish-nets. The current trending vinyl-latex-plastic revival was the inspiration for the styling. Most pieces used in the shoot are from the late 80’s to the early 90’s, but rubber clothing emerged in the 60’s. Mod fashion designers like Paco Rabanne used rubber in couture collections, creating a futuristic and modern appeal to the designs.
